One of my friends asked me yesterday that do you know the best flatbed scanner. I said no, but I can help you to choose the best one for you. I simply asked her about her preferences and then I compared different available options and choose the so called best for her.
Basically there are a few criteria’s through which you can judge the scanner for yourself. These include a bit of the knowledge of DPI, speed, bit color etc. Let me give you a small bit of idea of these terms:
The unit of the resolution of the scanner is the DPI, popularly known as Dot Per Inch. The higher the value of the DPI, you will get the better image quality. Normally a 4800 DPI scanner will give you the best image quality, but then if you have more budget you can opt higher resolutions too. Normally a canon flatbed scanner of 4800 DPI can be good for you.

As the assignments get more complex, I found myself begging for a simpler coding environment. So, this week, I made my own fabduino, so I can now use Arduino libraries. That is up and working well. I had a little problem programming it since my USB port was acting up, but after trying it on Ed Baafi’s computer, things worked great.
